Musical Theatre is back for another session and welcomes kids 7-14. Acting, singing, and dancing make up the three main elements to a musical and young actors will explore all components in Musical Theatre Class. Students will dance, learn vocal technique, the importance of character analysis and song interpretation, learn to audition, play theatre games, and perform improvisations. Students will also learn about some of the technical-sides of theatre, including lighting, make-up, costuming, and prop/set building. This 11-week session will consist of a musical to be performed in the evenings of Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. Class is taught by an experienced vocalist/pianist and AZ state certified Music Teacher, Alexis Burrows.
